You Light Up My Life

Hi Stampers,

I just love the embellishments that are in the Urban Underground Suite. I used to have brads like these when these were "in".  Perusing Pinterest I saw cards made like outlets and I thought I would give it a try PLUS I got to use one of the embellishments. I used the sentiment from the hostess set Pun Intended.

Easter Peeps with Cool Treats

Hi Stampers,

I got some play time this past weekend and got to unleash my creativity. I just received the Cool Treats Suite in my order. I have seen so many cool cards with this set and couldn't wait to make some of my own. However, my mind is on Easter and this is what I came up with----Peeps from the "ice cream"!!!

You just stamp, cut out with the framelit and then cut again with the framelit moved up a little.

You're Eggstraordinary!!

Hi Stampers,

My card for today was made with the FREE gorgeous glimmer paper pack you can choose for a sale-a-bration item. I hope Stampin' Up! will add these colors to the annual catalog this June. They come in Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron. Remember Sale-A-Bration ends at the end of this month. Make sure you place your order in plenty of time!!!

 

To make the "eggs" I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch and cut the tails of the balloon off.

Hexagon Dimensionals Folder Beehive Gift Box

Hi Stampers,

The dimension this embossing folder gives is out of the park. It looks 3D in real life!!! Remember because it is so THICK only use one cutting pad!!! It also works great with the Window Box Thinlits. What a cute little box to give to someone sweet!!! I did sponge Crushed Curry Ink on the box after embossing to highlight the hexagons. I used the You're So Sweet for the sentiment. How appropriate for this project, huh?

The little bees are from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlit dies. A clever trick my upline, Dawn Olchefske, shared is punch a 1/2" circle and adhere to the back along with 1/4 of one.

I have a couple more ideas up my sleeve that need to come to fruition. Hopefully, this week!!! So, stay tuned!!!
