DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #270-Lots of Lavender (in Copper)

Hi Stampers,

This week's challenge is use anything from Sale-A-Bration. I swore to myself I didn't need the Lots of Lavender stamp set but it ended up at my house anyways. Those stamp sets have a mind of their own I'm telling ya!!! Anyways with the release of the 2nd set of Sale-A-Bration items - actually the Springtime Foils Specialty DSP- I thought lets use the stamp set and emboss in copper. This DSP is GORGEOUS on it's own-very thick and shiny. I combined it all together along with the sentiment from Heartfelt Blooms. VOILA!!! My card is done.

 

 

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #268-Party Pandas

Hi Stampers,

Back again with another DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge. The colors of this week's Color My World challenge are so summery and warm. It gives a little reprieve to 15 degrees and 6 inches of snow. Of course, it is winter. And Michigan.

Smile shaker card

Hello stampers, I made another shaker card using yesterday's same concept. I used the Sale-A-Bration Hello stamp set from this year. 

I used the Basic Black marker for the smiley face eyes and mouth.

Slider card

Hello,

Sorry for being AWOL last week. At the last minute, my hubby asked me to go along to North Carolina to haul a travel trailer and I said YES. Kentucky and Tennessee are so beautiful. You might have heard in the news Tennessee had part of a mountain crumble onto the interstate highway. We had such good timing-the southbound lane was opened the morning we were going to drive through it!! No 45 minute detour for us. North Carolina was having great weather-76 degrees while we were briefly there. Now it is back to business. I'm home and he is on his way to New York State. Safe travels honey!!!

For my monthly stamp club we made a birthday card. My sentiment was a little too long and it didn't quite work out all the way. I decided to go back to the drawing board and I created a graduation and baby card using the same concept. I think they turned out a lot better.

****The graduation punch uses a bigger circle punch than the baby card. The ones I used are in the recipe for each card.

Ombre Botanicals for You

Hello,

I don't know about you but I just LOVE the big word stamps such as the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Botanicals for You. I used the ombre technique on it. So quick and easy!!! Pick out 3 different stamp colors within the same color range. I picked out Perfect Plum, Blackberry Bliss and Elegant Eggplant. Press the upper part of your stamp in the lightest (in this case Perfect Plum), then move down a little and press on Blackberry Bliss and then finally, Elegant Eggplant.
