Copper Flourish Thinlits

OMGosh, I bought the copper foil sheets in my preorder and they are SO RICH looking!! The Flourish Thinlits make gorgeous die cuts---very delicate and feminine looking. Remember you can order any of the items in my online store --- just click the button at the top to take you there!!

 

To make this card, I punched out three 1-1/2" circles spaced apart. I then used my layering squares framelits to cut out 3 "frames". Then, I took the circles that were cut out and used them to cut out my flower die cuts. I wish you could see this card in person. These pictures really don't do it justice. Just gorgeous IRL!!! I also colored our rhinestones with a copper Sharpie marker and placed in the center of each flower. I also used the thin long pieces of the copper foil I had left over to place along the top and bottom of the card instead of using a whole sheet of copper. I then, popped up the layer with dimensionals.

Beautiful Branches Wedding

A friend of mine asked if I would make her a wedding card to purchase. The new couple was having a rustic themed wedding with sunflowers and daises. When I showed her the card she stated she knows where she will be buying all of her cards in the future. She LOVED it!!!

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #192-Falling Flowers

Welcome back for another DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge. This week we have a color challenge. They are also the colors showcased in the Blooms and Bliss DSP. Very subtle and pretty!!!

 

First thing that came to mind was my new stamp set that I haven't played with yet called Falling Flowers. I can see myself reaching for this set alot. I just love the framelits that coordinate with this set. I also got to use up some Island Indigo ribbon from Sale-A-Bration a couple of years ago. Love that!!!

I had some leftover die cuts so these were perfect for the inside. I didn't put any embellishments on these or pop them up on dimensionals because I thought the card would be to bulky for the postal service so I kept the inside simple.

Recipe:

Ink: Island Indigo, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum

Happy Halloween Beautiful Branches

Yes, I know-- I really am NOT trying to rush the seasons but the tree die from the Beautiful Branches makes a perfect halloween tree don't you think? If you look closely in the pics you will see I used the new adhesive strips as adhesive to "pop" up the tree on the trunk. I also used the new classic label punch for the sentiment and fence. This set can be used for ALL the seasons. Like I said previously--- a very, versatile set!! Don't forget this set goes on sale, to you, my customers on this Tuesday, August 2nd WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!!! I am giving ample reminders so I don't want to hear any sobs when it sells out and you didn't order yours!!!

Beautiful Branches Split Negative

Each day until Tuesday, I will be posting a card using the Thoughtful Branches bundle. As a customer, you can purchase this set starting this coming Tuesday, August 2nd WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. I hope this will give you ample ideas on how to use this must have new set and kickstart your creativity. 

I die cut the "tree" thinlit, once in Soft Suede and once in Very Vanilla. Then, you just cut the die cut in half and adhere to your cardstock. When you use the split negative technique, you STAMP your image once on a color and then once on another color. Cut in half and adhere to your cardstock. This is a little different but not much.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, red glimmer paper

Accessories: owl builder punch for heart, Big Shot, magnetic platform, Beautiful Branches thinlits, fine tip glue, glue dot, dimensionals, paper trimmer, sponge
