Lemon Builder Punch Bunny and Fox Builder Punch Bunny

Hi Stampers,

I hope you haven't fretted over not having a bunny stamp to make your easter projects. I have been playing AGAIN with my Lemon Builder punch. This time I came up with a bunny. I also played with the Fox Builder punch and came up with a smaller bunny!!!

Here are the pieces you need for the Lemon Builder punch bunny. The circle is the 1" circle punch--you will need 2. One for the head and one cut in half for each of the feet.

Here are the pieces you need for the Fox Builder punch bunny. The circle is a 3/4" circle.

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #274-We Must Celebrate

Hi Stampers,

Back for a DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge Product Spotlight. We are to use any critter image. When I first saw this stamp set it went to the top of my want list. I think the animals are so cute. A lot of stampers have cut the animal image apart to use the animals separately which is what I did with the bunny.

I need a few Easter cards to send to my grandchildren and this fit the bill perfectly. I finally used one of my blends too-Pink Pirouette. Boy, do they ever color nicely!!! I also came up with another use for the "pineapple" punch from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack--a carrot!! And, if you haven't used the Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon--OMGosh this is so pretty--shiny and silky. Stampin' Up! always produces superb quality items.

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #223-My Hero

Hi Stampers,

This week's challenge is a sketch pad. I was making this sketch WAY to hard. I left the table and came back and VOILA!!! I stress myself out for no reason. LOL I can't wait to see what the other STARS came up with!!

I love the bright colors I used. Who doesn't like bright colors for Easter eggs? My Hero stamp set is perfect for the holidays. It is a very versatile set. Also, to make the eggs I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch and just cut the tail of the balloon off after I punched.

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #221-Cookie Cutter Easter

Hi Stampers,

We are having a Home Sweet Home challenge. The chocolate looks great doesn't it? My eyes were on the peeps. Growing up, I got these suckers every year in my Easter basket and every year I complained I didn't like them!!! LOL Anyways, I guess they kind of reminded me of my childhood so that is where the inspiration came from. HOWEVER, I do not own the Basket Bunch in the Occasions catalog. (I know, shocker, right?) So I got creative and created my "own" peeps out of the Cookie Cutter punch. All you do is punch whatever color you want and trim the sides off with scissors. Easy, peasy!!! I dipped the end of my stylus in Basic Black ink for the eyes and nose. Doesn't get much easier than that!!!

 

I removed 2-1/4" from the top of the card.

Ink: Basic Black, Crushed Curry

Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush, Soft Sky, Whisper White

Easter Peeps with Cool Treats

I got some play time this past weekend and got to unleash my creativity. I just received the Cool Treats Suite in my order. I have seen so many cool cards with this set and couldn't wait to make some of my own. However, my mind is on Easter and this is what I came up with----Peeps from the "ice cream"!!!

You just stamp, cut out with the framelit and then cut again with the framelit moved up a little.

My card for today was made with the FREE gorgeous glimmer paper pack you can choose for a sale-a-bration item. I hope Stampin' Up! will add these colors to the annual catalog this June. To make the "eggs" I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch and cut the tails of the balloon off.

Easter Egg Hunt

I can't believe Easter is this weekend!!! I love the fringe scissors and all the cards out there that have the fringe on them. So, I decided to turn the fringe upside down and make a grass card with hidden bunnies and eggs!!! I don't know about you but we plan on having an Easter egghunt for the grandchildren. Can't wait!!!

Cut Garden Green in 1-1/2" strips and then cut with fringe scissors.
