DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #287-Patriotic Painted Glass

 

Hi Stampers,

Welcome back for another DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge. This week we have a Home Sweet Home challenge. Who lives in the United States and does not like red, white and blue? With the upcoming holiday this made the challenge very easy for me. Also, with keeping with my weekly challenge to myself to post 3-4 card ideas for a particular stamp set/bundle I used the Graceful Glass collection.

I wasn't too sure about the font used on the sentiment stamps but it looks beautiful with this style card.

I die cut 3 of each color using the thinlit half circle and then patiently placed the colored die cut in each spot. The center one I adhered the "outline" to a piece of a scrap of Whisper White, placed the colored die cuts on it and then placed on dimensionals. The sentiment I placed the Whisper White back into the punch to make it smaller.

This shows how the center "pops" up
