Hi Stampers,
I'm not Irish but who cares---I still like to celebrate and drink green beer on St. Patty's Day!! I thought these would be cute to give as gifts to friends, coworkers, classmates, etcetera. Plus, who does not like mint and chocolate? Uh...yes please. I mean the bag of M&M's was in my cart before I knew it (no brainer) and they taste GREAT!!!
I did not have a small enough heart framelit/punch to make the 4 leaf clover. VOILA!!! Use my pansy punch!!!
I used some ribbon from my leftover Paper Pumpkin last month.
Did you notice there are only 3 that are candy filled? That's right. There was a hole in my bag. *wink*
Instructions:
Cut Emerald Envy 3 x 8-1/2". On the short side score one side at 1/2".
Cut Basic Black 1/2" x 8-1/2".
Cut Gold Foil with one of the smallest Layering Square framelits.
Cut one Emerald Envy circle scallop.
Cut one Emerald Envy stitched circle (for the inside of hat).
Punch out "4 leaf clover" with the Pansy punch.
Stamp and emboss with white embossing powder sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I took my bone folder and burnished the large piece of Emerald Envy so it would form a circle.
Make several cuts from the short side to the score line.
Adhere Basic Black strip approx. 1/4" away from score line.
Adhere "gold buckle" on top of the Basic Black strip.
Adhere Fast Fuse to all of the tabs on the Emerald Envy large piece and to one end to form a circle and adhere together.
Place on scallop circle and press down with bone folder.
Adhere Fast Fuse to stitched circle and place inside hat.
Place treats in center. Tie on ribbon and tag. Enjoy!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
