Hi Stampers,
I just love the above photo!!! I believe it is called buffalo check or buffalo plaid? It is EVERYWHERE this year!!! Very on trend to say the least. It reminds me of flannel shirts and warmth. I went looking through my DSP stack and came upon the Merry Little Christmas DSP from the Christmas catty. The papers are Basic Black, Old Olive and Whisper White. Well, I chose the black and white buffalo check and grabbed my Real Red sponge and went to town. It worked out beautifully!!
I made my own!!! If you haven't done this--you need to!!! Very cool results. I then reached for my new Smitten Mittens bundle I just received this past week. I am so glad I purchased this set. Absolutely adorable!!! I used the Cut Apart Technique. You basically line the card score line at the 2" inch mark and cut. Move the cardstock over and cut again at 2" inches. Usually you would use the leftover piece of cardstock to bridge the card together but in this case I used the mitten diecuts to achieve this.
Of course, you have to add bling and a little white bow!!!
How did I miss this? I love what you did, great job! Thanks for playing along with the DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge!
