I just love using EVERYTHING I can and not waste it. Well, this card is no exception. I have been seeing them all over Pinterest, Facebook, etcetera. It is called the Herringbone Technique. I like Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper because each pack coordinates all together. Take your scraps, (I used 5 different patterns) and cut them 1/2 " in length. Then I put several strips of SNAIL running across my already cut Very Vanilla cardstock-(I used 3-3/4" x 5"). I started layering them on with the ends overhanging about 1/8" apart. When you are finished just turn over and trim with snips to the edge of the Very Vanilla cardstock. Remember: THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO DO THIS. And-no card is alike!!!
Here is my finished card:
I hope you give this technique a try!!!
