DOStamper Stars Challenge #144-Boho Chic Hello

 
Hi Ladies,

I'm back with another DOStamper Stars Challenge. This week we have a color challenge. All of the fantastic colors are in the new 6 x 6 Pretty Petals DSP paper stack but unfortunately this is one of the FEW things that I didn't order. :( I had to come up with some other idea. I taped off my card front with 1" painters tape all the way around. I then sponged Calypso Coral and Old Olive inks on. Next, I placed Versamark over the sponged area and spooned on clear embossing powder. I heated the powder up with the heat gun and then removed the painter's tape. I placed this in the Boho Chic embossing folder and adhered to my card front. You could use this technique on virtually ANY embossing folder you have, change colors and VOILA and pretty card!!!

Stamp Set: None

Ink: Versamark, clear embossing powder

Paper: Old Olive cardstock, Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Whisper White

Accessories: dimensionals, Hello You thinlits, old olive baker's twine, SNAIL, Boho Chic embossing folder, New base precision plate, heat gun, painter's tape, sponges.
