Milwaukee OnStage and Swaps

Hi Stampers,

I was fortunate and blessed to be able to attend Milwaukee OnStage this past weekend. What a blast!!! First of all, it was to celebrate my upline, Dawn Olchefske's, $1 million dollars in sales achievement!! WOOHOO!!!! We are so proud and happy for her!!! When they blast the confetti cannons I thought she was going to jump off stage as she wasn't expecting them. Here she is with Shelli on stage:

$1M

If you ever get a chance to attend OnStage-DO IT!!! You meet so many people and learn different tips and tricks. It is SO WORTH IT!!!

Here is our group of DOStamper Stars:

Before OnStage I posted my two 3D swaps on Facebook. Well, needless to say and happy by the way, the demonstrators loved them. I thought I would post pics and directions here. Sadly, the Lots to Love Box Framelit Die is going to be retired. This is what I used to make the box. It is easy to make just time consuming (does that even make sense-LOL) Cut 2 of the Lots to Love Box Framelits. Take one and cut an oval shape out. The one that you cut the oval shape out of do NOT fold on the score line. Leave it upwards to create the arch. Adhere both together but cut the small tabs off the side of the one with the oval.

Stamp and die cut out the floral swag from the Hold to Hope stamp and die set. Adhere to the front of the box. Cut 8, 3/8" strips of Whisper White paper. Sponge the edges with Smokey Slate. Punch the end of each one with the Classic Label punch. Adhere to box around the oval. Trim the ends.  Punch flowers from the Tree Builder punch and add rhinestones.  Also stamp and die cut the butterfly from the Hold on to Hope set. Add the flower seeds and package.  This would make a great Mother's Day Gift to hand out at church, co-worker, friend, teacher..........

My 2nd 3D swap-Apple Pie Air Freshener:

DSCN0003

For this project my inspiration came from Erica Cerwin. She recently made a card with an apple pie on it. Since I had just posted recently about my Lemon and Orange Air Fresheners--I thought I would try the apple pie. And, it worked!!!

Supplies needed:

4" square coasters, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Tree Builder punch for the apples, Delicate Doilies, Tombow glue, 1/8" whisper white sheer ribbon, 1/4" Cherry Cobbler double stitched ribbon, Glue Dots, Basket weave Embossing Folder, Sponge, Crumb Cake Ink, Pretty Label punch, Stitched framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Apron of Love stamp set and framelits, Big Shot, clear envelopes, stapler, Crop a Dile, Wood Textures DSP, Essential Oils or Warmer Diffusing Oil

Cut one of each from the coasters. One stitched circle and one scallop circle. Emboss the stitched circle with the Basket weave Embossing folder. Glue together with TomBow glue. Punch hole with Crop a Dile. Apply oil on the back of the scallop circle and let dry. After drying, sponge the embossed side with Crumb Cake ink. Thread the white sheer ribbon and tie a knot. Tie a bow around this with the Cherry Cobbler stitched ribbon. Punch 2 apples, take basic black marker to color stem and attach with glue dots to the front. To package as I did-you need the Apron of Love stamp set and framelits. Stamp the I heart baking on Wood Textures DSP. Cut out with the rolling pin framelit. Attach to the Cherry Cobbler Pretty Label punch. Fold a doilie in half over the clear envelope and staple.

I hope you are able to give these a try!!!

St. Patrick's Day Hat Treat Holders

Hi Stampers,

I'm not Irish but who cares---I still like to celebrate and drink green beer on St. Patty's Day!! I thought these would be cute to give as gifts to friends, coworkers, classmates, etcetera. Plus, who does not like mint and chocolate? Uh...yes please.  I mean the bag of M&M's was in my cart before I knew it (no brainer) and they taste GREAT!!!

DSCN0106

DSCN0098

I did not have a small enough heart framelit/punch to make the 4 leaf clover. VOILA!!! Use my pansy punch!!!

DSCN0100

DSCN0102

I used some ribbon from my leftover Paper Pumpkin last month.

DSCN0105

Did you notice there are only 3 that are candy filled? That's right. There was a hole in my bag. *wink*

Instructions:

Cut Emerald Envy 3 x 8-1/2". On the short side score one side at 1/2".

Cut Basic Black 1/2" x 8-1/2".

Cut Gold Foil with one of the smallest Layering Square framelits.

Cut one Emerald Envy circle scallop.

Cut one Emerald Envy stitched circle (for the inside of hat).

Punch out "4 leaf clover" with the Pansy punch.

Stamp and emboss with white embossing powder sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I took my bone folder and burnished the large piece of Emerald Envy so it would form a circle.

Make several cuts from the short side to the score line.

Adhere Basic Black strip approx. 1/4" away from score line.

Adhere "gold buckle" on top of the Basic Black strip.

Adhere Fast Fuse to all of the tabs on the Emerald Envy large piece and to one end to form a circle and adhere together.

Place on scallop circle and press down with bone folder.

Adhere Fast Fuse to stitched circle and place inside hat.

Place treats in center. Tie on ribbon and tag.  Enjoy!!!

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #256-Santa Box

#256

Hi Stampers,

This week for our challenge we have a Color My World challenge. These colors just SCREAM Christmas to me. I just couldn't get that out of my head probably because when I am crafting I am listening to Christmas music. Our local radio station started playing it November 1 and it is one of my many guilty pleasures. I just LOVE it!!! Instead of making a card this week I thought it would be fun to make a 3D item, hence the Santa Box Treat Holder. I even typed up a pdf for you!!!

Father's Day Six Pack

Gradsdads

Hi Stampers,

Today for my Grads & Dads blog post, I made a cute Father's Day six pack. That's right, my hubby's favorite---a six pack of beer!!! This card originated from the card I posted for Easter below.

DSCN0260

Instead, I used the cute jar framelit and silver foil sheets to cut out the beer cans. TIP: When cutting out die cuts with the gold or silver foil I place a sheet of copy paper over it then place the cutting plate on top. Any marks you have on your cutting plate will not show through on the gold or silver foil paper.

I also used the Foil Frenzy Speciality DSP again along with the new mini gift bows. BTW, I think these are SO ADORABLE!!! They are definitely one of my favorite new embellishments.

DSCN0077

This card does fold flat and fits in a regular A2 envelope. However, with the gift bows I would probably hand deliver so they do not get ruined in the mail.

DSCN0078

I used the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

I also have a template for you to download for the measurements along with tutorial for the Easter Basket Card/Six Pack.

Baker's Box BBQ Grill

Today, I volunteered to make a project for Technique Tuesday for my upline's group. I was going to make a card in a box but thought, why not use our Baker's Box thinlits instead?

This would be cute for a masculine card, Father's Day, etcetera. Why not give it a try? Just remember this will not fold flat to put in envelope. It would have to be hand delivered.

I typed up a pdf file so you can download the instructions.
