DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #254-Night in Bethlehem Eclipse

Hi Stampers,

Back for another DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge. We are to showcase the Holiday Products. When I first looked at the catalog, the Night in Bethlehem was immediately #1 on my list.  It was a must have for me. The Edgelit dies cut out intricate shapes and in my opinion it is just gorgeous!!! I know this will be a favorite of mine for a long time to come. If you peruse Pinterest like I do, you should have seen the Eclipse Technique. It is where you die cut out words, or in my case, numbers. You then pop them up on dimensionals and put the die cut back in the cut to make an eclipse. I want the letter framelits so bad but I used what I had which are the numbers. I envisioned something different but it turned out okay. I am tired from work and it shows. LOL I was measuring it wrong -- twice!!!; put the die cut on crooked!!; put adhesive on the wrong side of the die cut..... I should have just called it a night but I didn't. I just kept cutting out the same thing. LOL I hope this happens to other stampers!!!

I definitely want to play around with different colors and sketches with this set. Hopefully I will get some time this weekend and be able to post soon.

Remember, if you would like to recreate this card for yourself, you can order all the supplies in my online store.

Harlow's Baptism-All God's Grace

My great niece Harlow was baptized a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to post the card I sent. They live in Kansas and my nephew (Harlow's Dad) is stationed in the Army (he's holding her). He was in Kuwait since she was a week old. We are so glad he is home and gets to be with his family again.

When I was making this card, I didn't intend to use so many retired items but sometimes you have to use up what you have.
