Christmas Hedgehog Tags

Hi Stampers,

Before Christmas, I was rearranging some things in my craft room and came across these old Lasting Impressions brass stencils. Remember these?

I have a hedgehog with a bunny brass stencil. Well, my upline, Dawn Olchefske, loves hedgehogs. I made her a set of four tags. Aren't these cute??

You use the embossing mat with these in the Big Shot. I just cut 1/8" of an inch around the shape and paper pieced them together.

I know these aren't Stampin' Up! but all the consumables are. Sometimes you need to breathe new life into some old tools and just create!!! LOL

I hope to use more of these in the future for something different.

If you have any lying around, I hope you give them a try!!!

Thank you for visiting my blog!!

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #211-All Wrapped Up

Hi Stampers,

Yes, I have been missing in action for 3 weeks!!! I apologize but the holidays just kind of engulfed me and I was overwhelmed (to say the least) lol. Now that they are over, I hope to be back to posting  a lot more!!!! The Stars took off the week of Christmas so we are back with a sketch challenge this week.

I love the sketch pad challenges!!! Grab your stamp set, paper and GO!!!

How versatile is this stamp set? I mean, really, using a Christmas stamp set for birthdays? Genuis idea!!  This card is the kind of card you would have to hand deliver because of the "ribbon" attached to the top. I suppose, though, you could have adhered the card closed around the outside and made this a pocket card.

DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #208-Cookie Cutter Christmas

Hi Stampers,

Another SUPER busy week for me. I am sorry I am not posting as much as I would like but between my J-O-B (although I absolutely love my job), Thanksgiving and life, my crafting time has been cut way back. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday. I know I did. Anytime you can get together with family is the BEST!!! and add in food and desserts---yes please!!! This week I did take time to decorate for the holidays. I just love turning on the tree lights, lighting a few candles and just take it all in. There is just something so cozy about this.

Ok....enough about me---now on to this week's challenge.

Great Christmas colors, don't you think? TIP: I found that if you use glue dots behind the gingerbread head and feet they adhere better than using SNAIL.

OOPS-You can see my smudge of Cherry Cobbler. Oh well, it happens!!!

I just love gingerbread men, ok and ladies too!!!
